Today is my birthday, and it's really special because it's my 1st day being a teenager. I'm sitting here in my living room waiting for my God Girl Bible to come in the mail, along with the book and devotional. As I sit here, I think about how I got saved sixteen months ago, how far I've come, and how far I have to go. I think that for me, being a God Girl means living for Christ. It has nothing to do with what non-christians think of what a christian should be like. I go through persecution from adults who think I'm crazy because I believe a donkey talked. I've recently had an adult tell me that I have no business talking about God and the Bible since I still sin. There's a quote that one of the Bible College Professors at my church made ten year ago that I really love: "I'm not sinless but I do sin less". We are not sinless by any means, but as we grow in grace and the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, we sin less because of the Holy Spirit working in us. To me, that's what being a God Girl is about: growing in Grace. One of my favorite things to do is go on Amazon and look at reviews. As I look at the reviews of the God Girl Bible, I notice that the age-range of the readers are as young as seven and as old as sixty. Any believer can be a God Girl. It's all about what you believe and your relationship with Jesus Christ.
