JH, my friend battling lung cancer passed away on Sunday night. She put up a strong fight for the last 6-7 years, but unfortunatley the cancer got her. As sad as I am to see her go, and to know that I'll never hear her voice or her laugh ever again, I'm glad she's at peace. Towards the end she could barely talk; if she talked too much she would break out into coughing fits.
JH, you were truely the greatest. Just being with you, whether we were riding, teaching, in the back seat on long…
"In the Holy Bible, morning is the symbol of the Resurrection as well. When one rises in the morning, everything is fresh, and everywhere it is peaceful and full of vitality. What a beautiful time the morning is! Indeed, it is advisable that we should get up early and present ourselves to the glorious…Continue
Here is some more on the Morning Watch, from Newman Sze:
Morning is the time God set for meeting His children and distributing spiritual food to them. Why is it a great blessing for the Christian to rise early in the morning and come to God? It is because morning is the time we present…Continue
This morning I was reading The Morning Watch Guide, by Newman Sze and felt like sharing some of it with you. I always tell girls to practice the morning watch and so this is just a reminder to us all about it's importance:
What we mean by ‘morning watch’ refers to the tranquil period of time when we…Continue
I really enjoyed reading about the Armor of God section in step three. It gave me a new outlook on salvation, truth, peace, the gospel and how these affect everyday life! I will definately think about this tomorrow morning when I wake up! Thank you again Hayley DiMarco for creating this website! You have no idea how much it helps me throughout my days! God Bless!

So I usually don't talk about personal family issues but this I must share!
My brother and his fiance have a four year old little girl. Since I don't have any kids of my own, She's my little princess! She's everyone's little princess! Little do most people know, her mother has suffered multiple miscarrages after my niece was born. She eventually had to have an operation in that area.…Continue

I have realized ( especially in the past year or two) how "plastic" the church can be. I mean, we go to church, we sing and pray and take communion and maybe pray again, and then we leave to go eat lunch at our favorite restaurant. We tend to be there because that's just what we do on Sunday morning. Now not all people are like this. I know some very devout Christians that live their lives for the sole purpose of pleasing God and helping others. But right now I'm talking about the majority…Continue

I never actually sat down and thought about ways that I could love my friends...take care of them, don't let them do bad things, encourage them when they need it, offer advice, etc etc.
I am going to try and be more loving with my family and set an example. I think that will improve our outlook on each other.
I do think that girls worry about boys too much and that boys need to earn our love. Giving them everything is not good because if they leave that girl is left with…Continue
Hi you all! I'm new here and I have a problem. You see, I really want to be a published author one day. That is like, my biggest goal in life. I love writing and write short stories all the time and have been working on a novel I plan to be around 60000 words long for about a year now. I have just reached 30000 words - and as happy as I am to be half way there, I want the process to speed up.
I know I can be farther by now. A lot farther. I know my story INSIDE and…Continue
Today I sat down on my couch while I was all alone and devoted half an hour to God. I sat their and talked to him about my worries, my problems, my loved ones, my aspirations. I told him about those around me who needed help. I aasked for guidance and forgiveness. After I was done, I felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. I literally felt better. It reminds me of a song by Lauren Alaina, "Dirt Road Prayer."
And so I go where the green grass grows
The weeds are high and…

This week's poem is written to encourage those who need encouragement, srengthen those who need strength, and lift up those who have been left on the ground with no one to help them back up. I hope this will bring light to your day.
A Letter From God
When you are down in the depths,
When you've been trampled to the ground,
When you feel no hope,
And there is darkness all…Continue
Being a Christian is the best thing that has happened to me. I don't know where I would be without my faith, without God. My family is currently going through a storm right now( we have been since the 24th August 2012) but I know that as a family, we will weather this storm together; somehow. I have felt so many times like I wanted to give up; stop praying but something always pulls me back; my…Continue

We all love earthly things, sometimes more than the Lord. Sometimes I focus on electronics, music, and my social life more than talking to the Lord and spending time with him and his word. We all do this with something in our lives, sometimes without noticing it. The reason we do it is because we only think about living on the earth, but everything that we have on the earth is gonna disappear when the Lord comes down from heaven and takes us up. We should all turn away from focusing on…Continue
Today while I stood behind the counter at work talking to my boss, a middle-aged to older African American woman approached with a few pieces of clothing. I don't recall asking her about her shopping experience but instead I was deeply concentrated on getting her clothes checked through quickly and eficiently. I looked up at her with a smile and told her the total and she began digging through her purse. While doing so, she began to start a conversation with me. "I'm trying to buy some…Continue
So I just read Maddie Ward's blog, "Dating? I'm Waiting!", and it really convicted me. My life used to be centered around boys. Even if I didn't like a certain guy, everything I did was to get a guy's attention. I have gotten immensely better through the years and I am thankful for that. But I still find myself every now and then trying desperately to get the guys to notice me. I have some friends that are absolutely "boy crazy" even if they don't admit it, and…Continue
Sometimes, I feel so lonely...like, no one else will ever understand what I have been through and what I'm going through. One day, I was reading my Bible and I found this verse:
But as scripture says:
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love Him."

So many times I've focused on my weaknesses in life then my abilities and strengths.
I dwell on the things I can't do rather then the things I can do.
God doesn't want us to constantly beat ourselves up about are weakness but wants us to use our strengths to encourage and glorify Him.
Use your strengths to encourage and inspire others and hopefully show them God's love!
Now don't get me wrong-I don't mean you…
Earlier today, I was thinking and I can up with this question: Who created hell? I'm thinking it was either God of Satan. But, I am pretty sure that God only makes good things, and I do not think that hell is good. On the other hand, I am not sure if Satan is capable of making hell. If you can answer with your thoughts I would appreciate it!
